Dr. Kathryn Skarda was born in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Skarda, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Following this, Dr. Skarda completed advanced training in hospital and special needs dentistry at Rochester Regional Hospital, General Practice Residency. Returning to Richmond, she then pursued a two-year postdoctoral residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. In her free time, she loves hiking with her husband, Brian, and their dog, Beau.
