Dr. Ashley A. Harman is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where she majored in biology and psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Harman moved to Cincinnati, OH to pursue a two-year postdoctoral residency in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Harman received extensive clinical training in dental trauma, sedation, and the treatment of patients with special health care needs. She has participated in dental service projects across Virginia, such as the Missions of Mercy projects and Special Olympics. 

Dr. Harman believes the early years are critical for children to establish oral health habits and values that will carry into adulthood. She is dedicated to making your child’s dental appointment a positive and enjoyable experience! She loves forming relationships with her patients and aims to provide excellent oral health care. 

Dr. Harman’s husband, Rilee, is a Richmond native. Together, they have two boys, Lee and James, who keep them very active and busy!
