Dr. Jo Cronly is a board-certified pediatric dentist as well as a mom of three. She strives to provide positive dental experiences with compassion, patience, and lots of fun! Dr. Cronly is a strong advocate of preventive dental care and believes healthy lifestyles promote healthy teeth. Her areas of interest and advanced training include growth and development, behavior management, sedation, tonsillar hypertrophy, and childhood obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Cronly earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the VCU School of Dentistry. She remained at VCU to complete a residency in pediatrics where she earned her Master of Science and developed a screening tool to aid in diagnosing pediatric obstructive sleep apnea. In 2015 her research was published in the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine, an official publication of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Prior to her dental training, Dr. Cronly attended the University of Virginia, where she majored in Biology and English. She also completed a Master’s in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Cronly enjoys spending time with her husband and children and cheering on the Wahoos!
